As you can tell, things have changed. I'm revamping the site to focus more on women. With all the attention lately on the "me too" movement and what women continue to face in all areas of their lives, I felt it was important to give them a break, to showcase their strengths and show their true beauty. I want them to let go of those feelings of inadequacy and lack of self-confidence. I want to bring out all of their power......their super power.
As I move ahead with this change, you will see continued updates and improvements to the site. If you have suggestions, stories to tell, or important messages for women, let me know. I'd love to showcase your story!
If you'd love to do a boudoir session but feel self-conscious about it, call me. I promise, I can dispel your fears and make you feel beautiful and strong. Besides, we make it fun.
Check back often. Just continue to "BE BEAUTIFUL.....LIKE YOU".
We had so much fun going out trick or treating with Ever this year. She gets it now! She sure had a blast with two friends who came out to trick or treat with her. At 3 years old, she held her ground and lasted quite a while before admitting defeat and getting a ride back in her wagon. What a beautiful neighborhood and a wonderful time.
Taking a trip with 5 people in a truck can be difficult but when one is 2 1/2 year old, you would imagine that it might be impossible. But you would be wrong. Ever was fantastic. In fact, she was a trouper. 15-hour drive in two days. The trip was amazing, the cottage life for the week was so much fun and visiting family rejuvenated the soul.
Ever was so cute for Halloween. Mommy tried to do the princess costume but she wasn't having it...besides, it was cold, wet and raining. She ended up with a unicorn costume that worked out just fine. Of course, everyone loved seeing her and made a big fuss over over. Thanks for letting me hand out with you. Love you!
These are my bullet journal spreads. I discovered Bullet Journaling in January and I've not looked back. I love the freedom I get from logging my life as I want. I've had a planner for years and have always felt restricted by it. Now, I can enter my memories, my plans, my tasks, my whole life, all in one place. I love it. Below, I'm showing where I started back in February (January is just too crazy to show...well one maybe) and then with March you can see the progress to where I am today. I use an ARC by M from staples Junior size. I also print my own pages slightly bigger than A5 as it suits my needs. I'm still exploring the possibilities.
I had the surreal pleasure of photographing twin babies this weekend...this was a very special treat. Born August 5th, tiny to boot, but oh so beautiful. Meet Laura and Cedric. They were sweet and amazing to work with. Thank you to the very composed and easy going parents for allowing me to share this special event with them. Many happy wishes for a wonderful life!
I had the honourable pleasure of making these beautiful photos for Jessie. She was crowned Miss North Ontario for 2014. She is absolutely beautiful and a pleasure to work with. Enjoy the pictures.
Here we have it again. Another year has passed. Christmas has come and gone and 2014 is just around the corner. As I contemplate on all of the memories of the past year, I can't help but be excited about the arrival of 2014 and all that it will bring. My heart is full with the birth of my grand daughter. She's everything and more. When they say that you can't imagine how much love you can have for a grand child, they are right. It's unexplainable. We will continue to grow together in that love.
I wish you all the very best for a Happy New Year where all the joys and good things in life are yours throughout the year. May you all be blessed with health, love and peace. Jolene
