Happy Canada Day! It's such a wonderful holiday.... This month's theme is....wait for it....."Through the eyes of a dog". Well, I didn't have enough of angles so I decided that I would continue that theme in a different way. Besides the fact that dogs see things from a different angle than we do, they also see things in colors that are different from us. We have 3 "parts" in our eyes that allow us to see all the colors of the rainbow. Dogs only have 2, that goes for colorblind people too. So follow me this month to see all the neat things I see through a dog's eyes. I also thought I could personalize it a little..by naming the dog (my mind's eye). In honor of Canada Day, I've decided to name the dog "Poutine". Heehee! Enjoy July, get out there and try your hand at shooting from a dog's eye view...it's going to be a great month. Love what you shoot! I've put the actual colors of the flowers and really on Poutine's side, there should be no green and no purple....I forgot....but you get her view just the same.... So dogs see things in yellows, some blues and grays, There's also a range of tan to browns. They don't see orange, reds, purples, greens...we call that color blind. Because I'm not exactly sure what green becomes, or any of the other colors...I'm going to take some creative license and change them to those I think will be correct or look better in the picture. Enjoy this series...it should be fun. |
