Happy Canada Day!  It's such a wonderful holiday....

This month's theme is....wait for it....."Through the eyes of a dog".  Well, I didn't have enough of angles so I decided that I would continue that theme in a different way.  Besides the fact that dogs see things from a different angle than we do, they also see things in colors that are different from us.  We have 3 "parts" in our eyes that allow us to see all the colors of the rainbow.  Dogs only have 2, that goes for colorblind people too.  So follow me this month to see all the neat things I see through a dog's eyes.  I also thought I could personalize it a little..by naming the dog (my mind's eye).  In honor of Canada Day, I've decided to name the dog "Poutine".  Heehee! Enjoy July, get out there and try your hand at shooting from a dog's eye view...it's going to be a great month.
Love what you shoot!

I know, the colors are wrong on this one.  I've put the actual colors of the flowers and really on Poutine's side, there should be no green and no purple....I forgot....but you get her view just the same....

So dogs see things in yellows, some blues and grays,  There's also a range of tan to browns.  They don't see orange, reds, purples, greens...we call that color blind.  Because I'm not exactly sure what green becomes, or any of the other colors...I'm going to take some creative license and change them to those I think will be correct or look better in the picture.  Enjoy this series...it should be fun.

ABOUT ME

After more than 20 years, I decided to spend some of my retirement time renewing an old interest.  I was a potter for 23 years and then gave it up when we moved. I sold my pottery studio, took a position as a bookstore manager and didn't look back.  Now, I'm retired and revisiting this creative outlet.
Since all my pieces are hand built, they are all one-of-a-kind.  They're a little crooked, a little rough around the edges, and a little cheeky.  I hope you love them as much as I love making them.
At Cheeky Little Pot, every piece is hand-built, glazed and kiln fired.  Food-safe glazes are used and all pieces are created to provide a lasting, hands-on feeling experience.  Prices are listed under each photo.
At this time, only e-transfers will be accepted.  Any shipping charges will be added to the price of the piece.
Please contact Jolene at jolenelizotte@outlook.com for more information. I can also be reached at 705-280-5666.

I hope you enjoy my bit of whimsy!  Take a peek, it's a lot of fun!
Thanks    ~Jolene
